The Trade & Investment Section’s primary mission is to increase South Africa's capability and capacity to promote exports into targeted markets and increase and retain the level of foreign and domestic direct investment.
To carry out this mandate, we regularly interact with stakeholders, especially industry and sector customers through various forums, advisory bodies, stakeholder meetings, conferences, exhibitions and business missions.
Our office focuses on 14 states in the Midwest (Arkansas, Kansas, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma,South Dakota and Wisconsin.
We also work with all 9 South African Provinces.
